Installing tiles on the floor and kitchen splashback

A customer from the city of Drogheda contacted me for tile installation. The tiles were to be installed in the kitchen. The kitchen backsplash required glossy ceramic granite tiles measuring 60x30 cm. The customer chose a very beautiful tile resembling natural black stone.

The special feature of ceramic granite tiles is that they are harder than regular ceramic tiles. Therefore, special care is required when cutting such tiles. For making holes for sockets, a special crown drill bit with diamond coating should be used.

For the floor, I installed black tiles measuring 50x50 cm.

Tile installation in a pattern.

I did this tile installation work in Dundalk.
For the floor, a combination of large white squares and small black tiles was required.
This tile pattern is called "whirlpool" or "vortex." It looks very beautiful.
For the walls, I applied decorative plaster in the form of a white brickwork pattern.

Tile installation in Navan

Stoneware tiles in the "oak" color were installed in Navan. This tile looks particularly good in large spaces. The tile size is 20x60 cm.
These tiles were installed on a "warm floor", so I used a special tile adhesive with high elasticity.

Porch tiles

Porch and steps tiling in Balbrigan.
Here I used frost-resistant porcelain tiles. Beech tile color.
In addition to frost resistance, this tile has another useful property: it does not slip when wet.
It turned out to be a very beautiful and safe porch.

Mosaic tiles

Tiling of the bathroom in Anagassan.

First, the plumbing and electrical wiring were laid. After that, I started tiling. I used tiles measuring 30x60 cm.

All external corners were cut at a 45-degree angle.

Decorative mosaic inserts were used here.

I created a niche in the wall tiled, which can be used as a shelf.

Also, a tile base was made for the shower cabin. In the end, I installed all the plumbing fixtures, sockets, and switches.

A lot of work was done on this project, but the result turned out to be impressive!

I did this porcelain tile installation work in Dublin.
It was a very expensive tile from Spain.
