A series of tasks was completed on-site to eliminate water accumulation near the log. Since a puddle constantly formed in that area, the log was temporarily removed, and a drainage ditch was dug. Initially, there were plans to install a plastic drain, but this option was ultimately declined.
Instead, it was decided to
plaster the drainage channels in the ground with cement. The team constructed a cement storm drain and water channel, slightly narrower than the log itself, directing water flow to the backyard. To protect the structure, the drainage channels were covered with stone, layered with a filtering material (felt), and then topped with decorative stone for concealment. All openings were carefully masked, and the log was reinstalled in its original place.
